I just need to vent a sec.
GOD DAMN USPS!!!
I sent all my sisters out, about 2250pts to be painted, the rest was to be used as payment for such painting services.
I just got an email from USPS with pictures of the box with a HUGE ass hole in it, followed very quickly by an email from the artist, saying maybe 1/2 of the models made it. Retail I'm looking at close $1500 worth of models lost in the ether of transit. The artist is taking pictures of what exactly was left in the box so I can determine what is missing.
I'm so furious right now, because even if they compensate the value of the models, which I highly doubt they'll do without a fight. I now have to pay to get the models that did make it sent back to me, unpainted, which I highly doubt will actually make a army.
Thank you for listening to me rant. I felt I need to let this out, but needed it to be in a place that people would know what I'm talking about.

Dude that really friggen sucks. I always pucker whenever I ship and/ or receive with any carrier. I used to be a dockworker for viking freight many years ago and I know first hand how freight can be treated especially this time of year. Nothing can fully compensate you for this but hopefully you will get back more than you lost. Did you insure your shipment?

I don't think I did. I know it's not an excuse, but it was very busy, and I was on my lunch from work, so I was just go, go, go, take the package, pay and leave. And now I am regretting not going through ups. Atleast with them I know a bunch of the people, local and otherwise.

Dude,
Always insure your shipments. I know it totally sucks but this happened to me a long time ago when I was selling tons of product on Ebay. Sorry to read of your misfortune
